Floating barriers

Floating silt curtains, or turbidity barriers, are designed to isolate and contain suspended sediments in a given section of water. The body of the barrier, whether made of permeable geotextile or impermeable geomembrane, is sewn to envelopes containing the float in the upper part and the ballast chain in the lower part.  The barrier sections can be connected to each other without any length limit.
