Sediment control
The control of the release of sediment in the environment by civil works is a very sensitive domain and is closely monitored by the Government. To ensure the sustainability of our ecosystems, Innovex offers a complete range of sediment control devices.
SILT FENCE
Land sediment barriers are geotextile strips assembled on wooden stakes. They are used on the outskirts of excavation sites to limit the release of sediments into the environment. They are made of woven or non-woven geotextile.
FLOATING BARRIERS
The floating barriers, or floating silt curtains, are environmental protection systems used for work in the aquatic environment. They prevent sediment migration to the watercourse by isolating the work area.
ENVIROBAGS FILTRATION BAGS
Envirobags are filter bags made of non-woven geotextile. The sediment-loaded water is pumped in and is filtered continuously. The bag filled with solid sediments is disposed of properly.
SEDIMENT LOGS
The sediment logs are cylindrical structures made of natural fibers used for soil retention, filtration and runoff control. The water is filtered through the log, which also decreases the energy of the water flow in the process.
